Xiaomi headed in the direction of selling more phones
Xiaomi is currently turning out to be one of the top smartphone selling companies in the market. The company has sold over 10 Lakh units of Redmi 4 since a month after its launch. It is supposedly all set to break the sales record set by Redmi Note 4 and Redmi 3S.
The phone was earlier available at Rs 6999 with 2GB RAM and 16GB memory whereas now it has moved onto a new version with 4GB RAM, 64GB memory, and a price tag of Rs 10999. In addition to this, the latest version is the 32GB memory and 3GB RAM at Rs 8999. These new advancements are expected to help the smartphone beat the Redmi 3S phone’s 40 Lakh sale, which it has achieved in over 9 Months. Though the Redmi 3S seems to be a spectacular phone the Redmi 4 is no less and seems to be headed in the same direction.
The phone’s metal body, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, small bezels, and 2.5D glass in the front makes the phone look ravishing along with its availability in colors such as gold and matte black. Why has it been topping the chart exactly? The octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor and 5-inch 720p display are the major reasons behind it wooing the public. The thermal efficiency and smoother function has helped it outdo the other Xiaomi products. Its camera quality of 5-megapixel front camera and rear camera of about 13 megapixel is an added bonanza.
Redmi 4’s Android 6.0 Marshmallow-integrated MIUI makes it applicable for the Android Nougat preview. It has a battery life of about 4100mAH and it supports 4G LTE and VoLTE in the devices. All these features help the smartphone uphold Xiaomi’s sale in the country. In order to boost its sales, the company has come up with a Mi Home Store in India. The Mi Home Store is currently only present in Bengaluru and hence the company plans to come up with new ones in 100 cities including, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, and Hyderabad in the coming years.
The Chinese company is lately ramping up the Redmi 4 sales in India via Mi.com/in and the Mi Home units.
