Xiaomi opens its 500th service center
Xiaomi, the Chinese tech major and smartphone manufacturer, currently is in limelight due to its launch of featured-packed yet affordable Redmi 4 and Redmi 4A smartphones. The flash sale organized by the company clearly stated its popularity all around the world. And now, the company has come with another decision.
Xiaomi is reinforcing its after-sale service in the country, as the Chinese smartphone manufacturer extends its brand quickly in the Indian market. “In 2017, one of our big major areas was to expand the touch point of our service and in the last 6 Months, we have increased the number of service centers more than two-fold in India,” Manu Kumar Jain, India Head, Xiaomi, told the media.
Last week, Xiaomi unlocked its 500th service center in Bengaluru in the country. The smartphone manufacturer has a combination of multi-brand and partner-run exclusive service centers in 350 towns and cities. Jain claimed that the company does a strong inspection on each sole partner prior to appointing it and wishes to operate with relatively mid-size or smaller partners since they lean to be much more occupied and their competence levels are much advanced in comparison to huge firms.”
These steps assisted the firm to enhance its repair rate considerably, Jain claimed. The smartphone manufacturer now has over 4,000 individuals functioning on its service infrastructure that includes 26 small warehouses, 2 huge spare-part storehouses, 2 call centers, and 3 repair factories apart from the current service centers.
Well, Xiaomi has planned for its success in India. And now the company has started implementing these plans by commencing the introduction of the 500th service center in Bengaluru, the Silicon Valley of India.
