Huawei, which launched the metal-clad Honor 5 X Smartphone in China in October 2015, is all set to launch its next device in India on January 28. The Honor 5X will be the successor to the Honor 4X Smartphone, which was launched in March 2015.
the Honor 5X was initially roll out in China back in October 2015 and was launched in two different variants – with 2GB RAM and 3GB RAM. RAM variant was priced at CNY 999 (around Rs 10,200) whereas the 3G variant is priced at CNY 1,399 (around Rs 14,300).
Honor 5 X is a dual sim (Micro-SIM and Nano-SIM) 4G enabled Smartphone. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with the EMUI 3.1 skin on top. The Smartphone is powered by 3000mAh battery. It can support up to 1.46 days of regular usage time and up to 1.01 days of heavy usage time. It can charge up to 50 percent battery in just 30 minutes. The battery also comes with Quick Charge 3.0 feature.
Smartphone will be available in 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) resolution IPS display. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 SoC (four Cortex-A53 cores at 1.7GHz + four Cortex-A53 cores at 1.2GHz), clubbed with Adreno 405 GPU. The device includes an internal storage of 16GB which is further expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card slot.
The Huawei Honor 5 X sports a 13-megapixel rear camera bundled with 28mm wide-angle lens, dual-LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens and Blue Glass IR filter. It also boasts a 5-megapixel front snapper with f/2.2 aperture, 4P Lens, Blue Glass filter and a shooting range of 88 degrees comes inside the Smartphone.
It comes with Bluetooth 4.1, USB 2.0, GPS, A-GPS, WI-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and 4G LTE (FDD and TDD). The Honor 5X measures 151.3×76.3×8.15mm, weighs 158 grams. The handset will be available in two color variants Gold and Silver.
