Biggest Technology Trends to Watch for in Las Vegas

CES is a global consumer electronics and consumer technology which is also a world’s gathering place for all who thrive on the business of consumer technologies.

This biggest technology event runs this week in Las Vegas. In 1970, it was started from VCR and now it is with camcorder, changing the format we listen to music and preserve family memories. Around 3,600 exhibitors are expected to attend this event at Las Vegas.

Patrick Moorhead, an analyst at Moor Insights & Strategy told ABC News he’s most excited “about the maturation of home automation.” According to him, with 2.4 million sq feet of space and so many categories from robotics to 3D printing to drones and driverless cars, there is a lot going on.

3D Printing, Accessories, Audio, Automotive Electronics, Communications Infrastructure, Computer Hardware/Software/Services, Content Creation & Distribution, Digital Imaging/Photography, Electronic Gaming, Fitness and Sports, Health and Biotech, Internet Services, Online Media, Robotics, Sensors, Smart Home, Startups, Video, Wearable’s, Wireless Devices and Services are the product categories from consumer technology markets.

The first CES took place in New York City in June of 1967. Since then, thousands of products have been announced at the yearly show, including many that have transformed our lives.
